Dr. Casey and her staff is amazing!! I’ve been to many different IVF clinics. Dr. Casey and her staff make you feel like a human and not just a number! Dr. Casey is Kind, straightforward and honest about how she feels things would work best for you, or what she feels may not be best. All of her staff is amazing, specifically her Donor staff and you can tell they truly want you to succeed!
Many of us end up at CRM after we’ve lost trust in our bodies ability to do what we think it should, or when we’ve lost faith we can achieve our reproductive goals. It can be scary going somewhere unknown for something we haven’t experienced before that a lot of people are private about their experiences with. In my experience, CRM made me feel really safe when I’d started losing faith.
Everyone at CRM made me feel heard, understood, and taken care of. By everyone I mean the staff who answer your calls, the office staff, the ultrasound techs and phlebotomists you’ll likely end up seeing A Lot during your time as a patient, the embryologists/lab staff, finance folks, and of course the doctors and nurses. They all make the emotional processes of evaluating, diagnosing, treating/plan implementing, and, in our case, achieving a successful pregnancy via IVF, as pleasant an experience as I can imagine. One you can figure out. One you can handle. One that in my experience you won’t ever have wished you started later than you did.
Dr. K is wonderful! He listens and educates us when there’s questions/concerns. I’m happy that he is our doctor. He gave me hope and encouragement to move forward with options. I never felt pressured and glad that I have a doctor who is so knowledgeable.
We are so lucky to have had such a wonderful and seamless experience with CRM. IVF can be a really scary process to jump into, but the staff at CRM always put me at ease. We worked with Dr. Hopeman and she was wonderful. Most of your contact will be with the nurses. Helen and Ellie were so kind and caring. We are blessed to have had success here and look forward to working with CRM for our future transfers.
All clinic staff are great and personable. I've always felt comfortable going into my appointments and feeling I can ask any question. Follow up and response times amongst all forms of communication are very quick.
Dr. Kapfhamer is great. He understands how frustrating infertility is. He was prepared and took the time to talk through what went well with the last cycle, what didn't, and our options if we wanted to continue with another cycle. There was no pressure and he left plenty of time for any questions we had. If considering CRM and planning to use insurance be aware that their billing department is not as great, we are continuing with CRM because of the great medical team, but we have been very frustrated with the billing issues, unwillingness of CRM to fix the billing issues, and rude financial coordinator.
Two months after everything cleared with insurance and and insurance representative left a message with CRM with contact information if they disagree CRM stated that it isn't resolved and they refuse to work it out with my insurance company. They are still saying they disagree about coverage agreed upon and that they hold credits until 90 days after the last cycle unless someone demands a refund and it's a several week process. If you are concerned about money or ethics try someplace else to see if you can find someplace with a good medical team and decent administrative and billing.
This place is amazing. Dr. Kapfhamer is great, honest, kind and professional. My husband are very excited to start this experience here and to add onto our family and it’s wonderful to do it with someone you can absolutely loves what he does!!
Thank you, CRM! You are the reason I have my 2 year old child. I am beyond grateful to you. I waffled between a four and a five but generally speaking, I couldn’t ask for much more in a fertility clinic.
The only reason I would put a four is that most patients coming to CRM, I imagine, are already nervous, anxious and overwhelmed. It is already difficult and sometimes I find that they make weird decisions (weird to me but probably are their process / protocol). Waiting is one of the worst parts of infertility and with our current FET cycle, we had a two or three month delay after something that ended up being nothing and to top it all off, it wasn’t even our fault. Because of that, they cancelled all our appointments (for an April FET). I would have appreciated them waiting until post procedure with my OB to ensure something was wrong before doing this. I was very upset. We will now be doing an FET in June. I know things happen and they have standard practices, but this was pretty triggering. Patients are YEARNING for spots in their schedule so I couldn’t imagine waiting just a week or two would have lost them the ability to fill those spots.
This being said, the reason for the five is definitely warranted. Given our situation, we have been so fortunate to be able to afford and carry out growing our family thanks to CRM. We have not been to any other clinics but I would recommend Dr Casey and Dr Hopeman all day long. Dr. Casey is our primary specialist and Dr Hopeman ended up being on the day of our transfer during our first cycle. I had to skip IUIs due to our situation (scarred / missing tubes) and it was clear to us and our OB that the only way to grow our family was through IVF.
I have found the RNs to be helpful in general as well as short but I haven’t had any issues. I will say the RNs seem very detail oriented which is great if you’re like me and want to have all the information. Our first cycle in 2020 (mid pandemic), CRM didn’t have any portal so it was beyond annoying to wait around for result calls or having to call them. I was really happy to hear they have one now (I am a Designer and the user experience of their portal sucks but at least it works for quick questions here or there). The RNs have gotten back to me generally within hours. I’ve been extremely happy with that.
I recommend Dr Casey, Dr Hopeman and CRM to anyone that might be looking for some help taking the next step. Having that first consult with Dr Casey back in 2020 sincerely made my husband and I feel so much better. You got this, my friend!
Update: January 2024 - We are successfully pregnant with our second due to Dr. Casey and team's unwavering assistance throughout 2023. It was a long, windy road but again, so successful. I'm so thankful and grateful for the team at CRM.
My experience was great from the moment my husband and I walked in to the moment we left. Everyone on the care team were incredibly kind. Dr. Hopeman was wonderful. She was thorough in her consultation and addressed my concerns with kindness and great care. I look forward to my next appointment with her, the follow up consultation and plan of care in our journey towards having a baby.
